What this site collects, which is almost nothing.
Effective October 1, 2026
Easiest Labs is a static publication. Its pages are plain documents: they run no scripts, set no cookies, load nothing from third-party servers, and contain no forms, accounts, comments or analytics. Reading the journal sends nothing to us beyond the ordinary request that any web server receives for a page.
That request leaves an entry in the server’s standard access log, which records the page requested, the time, the requesting address and the browser’s user-agent string. We use these logs only to keep the site running and to see, in aggregate, which pieces are read. Logs are kept for no longer than ninety days and are then deleted.
If you write to the desk by email, we keep your message and our reply for as long as the correspondence is useful to the work — for a correction, that means for as long as the corrected piece is published. We do not add your address to any list, share it with anyone, or write to you about anything other than what you asked.
We do not sell, rent or trade any information, because we hold none worth trading. We do not use advertising networks, and no part of this site is sponsored.
You may ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to desk@example.com. We will answer within thirty days. If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will change with it, and the previous version will be available on request.
